Abstract
As recognized by the World Health Organization, healthy aging encompasses many aspects, often interrelated, on which it is necessary to act, such as diet, physical activity, social environment and participation, mental disorders, etc. For this reason, our project began as a long-term work to address different topics. During the 2014-2015 season we worked on dehydration in older people in the work of the community of practice (CoP) Healthy aging: hydration.
This season, as a result of some experiences in workshops and talks, our CoP has completed its work on hydration. Active and healthy aging should begin in the first years of life and be an option that continues throughout life. Therefore, it is never too late to start investing in prevention and healthy habits.
This work aims to reinforce empowerment in decision-making that affects the health and well-being of the population, as well as encourage the adoption of healthy habits to age in the most active and autonomous way possible.
