Reflexions sobre l'atenció a les gestants que rebutgen transfussions de sang: aspectes ètics i legals
Abstract
The refusal to receive blood transfusions is one of the clinical situations that generates more conflicts between patients and health professionals and often accompanied by considerable legal uncertainty. It is a situation that troubles the conscience of professionals and can cause significant personal and collective scruples; even if the patient is pregnant and the unborn child should be protected from special protection which is not subject, legally, however, it has clear legal rights. In this sense, there is no equal legal protection between the two subjects in relation to the right to life.
