Impacte de la recerca espanyola en trastorns mentals: una anàlisi de la transferència del coneixement a la pràctica clínica a través de les guies
Abstract
The assessment of the social impact of research aims principally at the transfer of knowledge, accountability, and the presentation of what has been achieved with the resources. Through this work, the ISOR project (Spanish acronym for Social Impact of Research) aims to explore, from a top-down orientation, the different ways in which a research discipline or speciality can be applied to clinical practice. The use of clinical practice guidelines (CPGs) has been considered by other studies as an indicator of intermediate findings between research and the analysis of scientific evidence, and also a tool for decision-making and the actions that result from such research. The aim of this work is to contribute to the assessment of research from this perspective, examining the process of knowledge transfer into clinical practice through CPGs, and specifically, CPGs in mental
health.
