Abstract
This report on public health in relation to alcohol consumption, requested and funded by the European Commission, described the burden social, health and economic involving alcohol for families and European citizens for Europe as a whole. This load increases marginalization and social exclusion and, in turn, hinders the process to viable, productive and socially responsible Europe.
