Implante endomedular Keep Walking para prótesis externa de apoyo distal en pacientes con amputación transfemoral
Abstract
The amputation of a lower limb is a permanent surgical procedure that has important functional, psychological and social sequelae that influence the quality of life of the affected individual. Rehabilitation is a key element in patients with amputation of the lower limb to ensure that the patient reaches a life as normal as possible in the community. Are then important factors the existence of a good stump, a functional prosthesis and well fitted, proper training in the use of the artificial limb and a psychological adjustment to the new situation.
