Abstract
Animals can be treated throughout their productive life with chemicals for the prevention or cure of diseases. In the case of food producing animals for human consumption, this can lead to the appearance of residues of these substances to foods derived from them, such as meat, milk, eggs, etc. These levels of waste, however, can not be in any way detrimental to the health of consumers. That is why appropriate investigations must be carried out in order to control the illegal use of substances in the fattening or treatment of food production animals for human consumption.
