Abstract
The National Emergency Plan of Catalonia (PLANUC) has as its main mission to ensure that every person receives constant and urgent attention, equitable and of quality, and that adapts to the health needs of the people, through a integrated, accessible and decisive network of care, led by professionals, who places the citizen at the center of the system. In Catalonia, attention to emergencies is articulated through different devices: 061 CatSalut Respon, primary care centers, continuous care points, emergency care devices primary care in isolated settings, primary care emergency centers, the network of pharmacy offices, hospitals and the SEM, which act as a network in order to guarantee equitable and high quality access to urgent attention, and adapt to the needs of each territory.
