Abstract
Lung cancer is one of the most common cancers in the world and with a high mortality rate. According to the Oncology Master Plan, since 1994, the incidence of this tumor remains stable in men and increases by 5.1% annually in women. Mortality is reduced by 1.1% per year in men and increases by 4.4% per year in women. Lung cancer is the leading cause of death among men and among women under 70 years of age:
