Problemes cardiovasculars i patologia crònica de salut mental i addiccions: anys 2012-2017 (28/2019)
Abstract
The diseases of the cardiovascular system are the second leading cause of death in Catalonia, with 27% of the total deaths (29% in women and 25% in men). This set of diseases has a great impact on the quality of life of the people affected, many years of life lost and a great economic cost. Patients with chronic mental health and addictions (PCSMA) have more cardiovascular risk factors (FRCV) than the global population of Catalonia. FRCVs are determinants of the risk of cardiovascular disease. In this document, FRCVs are studied by age and sex, compared to the population without PCSMA, territorial rates and cardiovascular events in the 2012-2017 period.
