According to the Spanish Heart Foundation, three out of every one hundred Spaniards between 15 and 64 years of age consume cocaine, a potent drug that has very detrimental effects on the body. Some studies conclude that the number of chest infarcts and anginas associated with this substance has increased in recent years. Other cardiovascular pathologies associated with people with cocaine addiction have also been associated, such as myocarditis and myocardiopathy, cardiac arrhythmias, sudden deaths, etc. Spain is the European country with the highest cocaine consumption rate
