Abstract
Melanoma is the most severe form of skin cancer, accounting for 4% of all malignant tumors in this organ. It is a highly invasive, advanced stage tumor (Unresectable or metastatic melanoma) 5-year survival rate is 17%. In recent years, melanoma treatment has expanded with the advent of new therapies for BRAF and MEK kinases in the MAPK pathway and in immunotherapeutic drugs, which have shown an increase in overall survival (SG) of patients.
