Abstract
The Outpatient Hospital Medication Prescription Quality Index (IQF-MHDA) is a CatSalut management tool for monitoring and evaluating the quality of care in the use of outpatient hospital medications. The IQF-MHDA includes several indicators, specific for specific or generic pathologies, with the following objectives: Improving the healthcare process: the aim is to promote best pharmacological healthcare practices by guaranteeing a rational use of medicines and reducing the territorial variability they lead to. to better health outcomes. The IQF-MHDA 2021 consists of a battery of 6 indicators, with specific improvement objectives for each of them and weighted according to their contribution to the overall improvement of the quality of the pharmaceutical prescription. The IQF-MHDA applies to the specialized care provider units (UP)
