Naldemedine; Restrenyiment; Opioids
Opioids are one of the pillars in the symptomatic treatment of moderate to severe acute pain, especially in postoperative pain, as well as in chronic oncological and non-oncological pain, although in the latter its evidence is controversial, especially for treatments lasting more than 3 months. Its use has increased exponentially in recent years. In Catalonia, the consumption of opioids (weak and strong) between 2013 and 2020 has increased by approximately 43%, from 7.4 DHD in 2013 to 10.6 DHD in 2020, according to data from the file Pharmaceutical service of the Catalan Health Service (CatSalut) .
