Abstract
Since 2003 the Catalan Health Service has been using a surveys plan to measure te perception, experience and satisfaction of the users of service (PLAENSA) in order to incorporate PREMs in the evaluation and improvement of the health care services. It is by systematically using PLAENSA and other patient experience inputs that hospitals and the Catalan Health services has been intending to evolve to a more integrated, patient and value centred care.
