Abstract
Currently the Internet is a source of important scientific and health information. The new information and communication technologies have made it possible for the Internet to become a mass medium and an instrument for the transmission of knowledge. From the Internet, consumers can easily access health information and online health services offered. Websites related to health increase exponentially and are among the most visited. The characteristics of the Internet, such as its low cost, the ease of global access, democratic and anonymous information, its rapid transmission and time savings, favor the increase of this type of website, while facilitating its use, access to content and its edition, and establish a framework prone to interactivity.
