Informe SAM 2009
Abstract
The general objective of this study is to learn more deeply what information has reached the population in relation to food safety, based on the fact that this contributes to creating, modifying or reinforcing attitudes and behaviors towards food and eating habits. Therefore, this analysis provides the opportunity to observe how the news is treated in the press (risk, rigor and objectivity of the information, intentionality, actors involved in the news, ethics and good professional practices, etc.) and thus, make an objective assessment of current events regarding food safety.
