Promoting participation in the design and development of public policies in health is an indicator of democratic quality, a mechanism that improves the transparency of the public health system and a way of grasping and introducing the opinion of the community in decision-making and in the governance of health. In addition, the adaptation of services to people's needs and their involvement in the care of their well-being and their health is a challenge that countries have for years now. This has led to a shift in the orientation of the care model, which places the person as the center of the social and health system, by promoting respect for dignity and autonomy as fundamental ethical pillars. The projects in this line establish strategies to promote a commitment among citizens and the system to advance in the improvement of governance and the development of a person-centered healthcare system.
