Índex de qualitat de la prescripció farmacèutica per als centres de salut mental d’adults (IQF-CSMA). Versió 2022
Abstract
The Pharmaceutical Prescription Quality Index (IQF) is a CatSalut management tool that allows you to quantitatively and qualitatively measure the pharmacological prescription made by primary, community and specialist healthcare professionals.
The 2021 IQF-CSMA includes three types of indicators with the following objectives:
• Universal indicators: the aim is to promote strategies aimed at ensuring the rational use of medicines in a general way.
Included is the indicator of use of new drugs with no added therapeutic value with more appropriate therapeutic alternatives (MATMA, drugs categorized as D by the CatSalut Pharmacotherapeutic Harmonization Program [PHF]). The list includes only drugs in the field of mental health.
• Selection indicators: the aim is to promote the use of the most effective, safe and efficient drugs by prioritizing drugs of choice in certain pathologies in the field of mental health. The IQF-CSMA includes indicators for the selection of first-choice drugs and alternatives to the first choice (antidepressants and antipsychotics).
• Safety indicators: The aim is to promote the safe prescription of drugs. Included is the indicator of patients treated with three or more antipsychotics.
