Índex de qualitat de la prescripció farmacèutica per als centres de salut mental d’adults (IQF-CSMA). Versió 2022
Abstract
The Pharmaceutical Prescription Quality Index (IQF) is a CatSalut management tool that allows you to quantitatively and qualitatively measure the pharmacological prescription made by primary, community and specialist healthcare professionals. The IQF is used to set targets based on the achievement values of different indicators integrated into synthetic numerical data. In this way, the aim is to encourage the use of prioritized drugs based on criteria of rational use and efficiency, avoid inappropriate prescriptions and reduce the variability in the pharmacotherapeutic approach to certain pathologies, making comparisons between territories or centers (benchmarking). . The IQF also makes it possible to specify and communicate in a clear and concise manner what the best practices of prescription are, to establish their levels of achievement and to set improvement targets. On the other hand, the introduction of the IQF in management contracts is a tool to encourage the implementation of CatSalut’s pharmaceutical and medicine policy.
