Influència dels gens en la toxicitat als fàrmacs i en la resposta als antídots
Abstract
There are multiple pharmacogenomic markers that can contribute to the appearance of adverse effects secondary to drugs or other substances (medicinal plants, chemical products, etc.). In the pharmacological field, pharmacogenomics is the science that studies it, while, if other substances are also included, toxicogenomics is in charge. In the face of potential drug poisoning, it is necessary to bear in mind whether there is any gene that may have contributed, a fact of particular significance in forensic toxicology. There are several drugs in common use (opioids, β-blockers, etc.) for which there are pharmacogenomic markers that predict toxicity that must be kept in mind and determined if the available evidence supports this.
