Abstract
This document contains a summary of the presentation day of the SAM Report, Food Safety and the Media, held on April 28, 2010 at the Barcelona Association of Journalists. It is aimed at the media, professionals in the sector and the general public, and addresses issues such as food-borne diseases, microbiological, chemical and nutritional risks, as well as good practices in the handling and consumption of food.
